Terms & Conditions

Definitions

“We”, “us” or “the company” means Linterior Design, a company registered in England. 
“You”, “the customer” or “the buyer” means the person, company or entity contracting to purchase the goods.

“The goods” are the items that you order from us as specified by our order acknowledgement and on our invoice.

Order Acceptance


We can receive orders via the Linterior Design website, by phone, mail or email using the contact methods published on our website or in other publicity materials. We reserve the right to refuse to accept orders or to require additional confirmation at our discretion. We acknowledge receipt of your orders via an appropriate communication: For example, web-based orders are acknowledged automatically by e-mail, telephone orders are acknowledged verbally at time of order. Orders placed by telephone are accepted when the order is placed and a contract of sale then exists between us and you from that time. If orders are placed by mail or via our website, no contract exists between you and the company until our official invoice has been issued.

Refunds

If we acknowledge an order but, for some reason outside our control, we are unable to complete the transaction within 30 days then any payment made will be refunded immediately if you ask us to do so. Refunds due against returned goods will be paid as soon as the returned goods are received by us, subject to the goods being received in unused, undamaged condition in their original packaging.
 
Goods that are received damaged will be refunded or replaced.  All we ask is that you email a photograph to us so that we can see the damage and discuss the return. Refunds will be processed within 48 hours of receiving the returned item/s. 

Pricing

We endeavour to ensure that all published prices are correct, however we reserve the right to change prices without notice and not to accept orders at prices that have been quoted in error. Prices are quoted in pounds sterling and unless specifically stated are subject to VAT at the prevailing rate.

Payment

Payment is accepted in pounds sterling by most major credit or debit cards as detailed on our web site at time of order. We can also take payment over the phone, on our shop number, 01208 814023. 


Payment Security

All credit card payments made during on-line transactions are handled on our behalf by the WorldPay secure payment gateway and handled using secure 128 bit encryption. No credit card details are processed or stored at any time on the company’s web site.
 
Delivery

We utilise either the Royal Mail or, for larger items, our courier of choice to deliver orders within the UK. Outside of the UK other couriers may be used. Postage is charged at a flat rate, which is charged whether you order 1 item or more. 
 
We aim to send items within 2-3 working days of receiving your order. The timescale given by our courier once collected is 2-4 days. Orders placed after 5pm will be dealt with the next working day. Orders placed on a weekend, will be dealt with on the Monday.
 
Now there are a couple of areas that cost a little more in delivery. Delivery to the Highlands, Jersey and certain parts of Ireland are a little extra – the cheapest postage we can offer is from £6.50, but for heavy larger items these prices start from £9.95 and Linterior Design will invoice separately for the extra postage costs. If you are in these areas, please give us a call with any queries on 01208 814023 and we can explain the extra cost. 
 
If your parcel for any reason cannot be delivered because it is the 3rd attempt the courier company will then return this to there local depot where an admin fee will be applied to the parcel to resend out to you – this is payable by yourself and they will contact you via email – it is always advisable to put a work address if you won’t be home to receive your order. 

Promotions and Coupons

All promotions and associated codes and coupons are distributed in good faith and are subject to terms and conditions. Discount coupons cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotions or special discounts. Linterior Design reserves the right to refuse the use of any or all promotions, discounts and coupons for orders placed online or over the telephone. 
 
Risk

Delivery is ex-works, and risk passes to the customer on delivery.

Returns

You can return any unused product ordered up to 7 working days commencing from the day after receipt of the products, by contacting us in writing within the 7 working day period and we will refund any payment that you have already made upon receipt of the returned item within 14 days in its original packaging and condition. 

If you return products by post, please ensure you package and label them properly so that they are not lost or damaged in transit. We recommend you insure the item and retain some proof of postage in the event that the products go missing, as products remain your responsibility and property until we receive them. The cost of returning any goods is the responsibility of the customer and this cost will not be reinbursed by Linterior Design as part of the refund process.

All contact with Linterior Design should be either by post or email to sales@linteriordesign.com stating your order reference.
Made to order/made to your specifications items or cut length fabrics or oilcloths cannot be returned after you have received them, unless they are defective. 
 

Product variations and Use

Linterior Design will make every effort to ensure that the products we supply through our website correspond as closely as possible to those shown on the website but cannot guarantee that they will be exactly the same. We cannot accept any responsibility for any variations in fabrics or products. Colours may vary from those depicted depending on the settings of your monitor, software or printer. All measurements are approximate. The technical specification of products may change due to availability of raw materials and we reserve the right to make such changes as and when necessary. Our fabrics are made from natural products and may thus have natural characteristics such as slubs and other irregularities in the yarns which are not weaving faults. 

All our products are designed for domestic use only unless explicitly noted. Commercial use of any fabrics and/or linings in the UK will require fire retarded products, outside of the UK please consult your relevent authorities. Complaints

We aim to deal with any complaints in a fair and timely manner. Any complaints should be addressed in writing to the company at the published address or via the web site contact form.
 
Law

All disputes arising out of, or in connection with, any contract between the company and the buyer shall be governed by English Law and the buyer accepts the jurisdiction of the English courts.
